Below is important information and guidelines for authors interested in submitting their work to our journal.

3. Submission Process

To submit your manuscript, please follow these steps:

  • Register: Authors must first create an account on our submission system (Open Journal Systems - OJS).
  • Prepare Manuscript: Ensure your manuscript adheres to the submission guidelines outlined below. Manuscripts should be written in English.
  • Submit: Submit your manuscript via the online submission system. Once submitted, you will receive an email confirming the submission.
  • Peer Review: After submission, your manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Decision: Based on the reviewer feedback, the editor will make a decision regarding your manuscript (accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject).

4. Manuscript Formatting Guidelines

Authors should ensure their manuscripts follow the following formatting guidelines:

  • Document Type: Microsoft Word or LaTeX is preferred.
  • Font: Use a standard font such as Times New Roman, size 12 for text and 10 for footnotes.
  • Line Spacing: 1.5 or double spacing throughout the document.
  • Margins: Standard 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins on all sides.
  • Title Page: Include the manuscript title, authors' names, affiliations, corresponding author’s contact information, and acknowledgments (if applicable).
  • Abstract: Provide an abstract of 150-250 words, summarizing the research and key findings.
  • Keywords: Provide 4-6 keywords related to your study.
  • Headings and Subheadings: Use numbered headings for each section of the paper (e.g., 1. Introduction, 2. Methodology, etc.).
  • References: Follow the citation style recommended by the journal (e.g., APA, MLA, or Chicago). Full citation details should be included in the reference list.

5. Ethical Guidelines for Authors

By submitting a manuscript to GJMR, authors agree to uphold the highest ethical standards:

  • Originality: The manuscript must be original and not published or under consideration elsewhere. Proper attribution to sources is required.
  • Plagiarism: Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited. Authors should use plagiarism detection tools before submitting.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could affect the research or its interpretation.
  • Human and Animal Rights: If the research involves human participants or animals, ethical approval must be obtained and documented.

6. Article Processing Charges (APC)

GJMR operates on an open-access publishing model, and authors may be required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) once their manuscript is accepted for publication. The APC covers the costs of editing, typesetting, and online hosting.

  • The APC will be communicated after acceptance, and payment must be made before publication.
  • Discounts may be available for authors from certain institutions or countries.

7. Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure quality and objectivity. During this process:

  • Manuscripts are reviewed by two or more independent experts in the relevant field.
  • Reviewers provide feedback on the manuscript's quality, significance, methodology, and clarity.
  • Authors are expected to revise their manuscript based on reviewers' comments and resubmit it for further review if necessary.

8. Revision and Resubmission

After receiving reviewer comments, authors may be asked to revise their manuscript to address issues or suggestions raised during the review process. Authors should:

  • Respond to reviewer comments in a point-by-point manner.
  • Clearly mark revisions in the manuscript (e.g., using track changes or highlighting).
  • Submit the revised manuscript within the specified timeframe.

Once a manuscript is accepted, the following steps occur:

  • Proofreading: The manuscript will be professionally proofread and formatted for publication.
  • Publication: The article will be published in the journal, available to readers worldwide through the journal’s website.
  • DOI Assignment: Each published article will be assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for easy citation and access.

10. Retraction and Corrections

If a manuscript is found to have significant errors, data issues, or ethical concerns after publication, the journal will issue a retraction or correction notice. Authors must notify the journal immediately if they discover errors or if there are concerns about the integrity of the published work.
